Direction is the heart of the media, entertainment, and film industry. As a director, you’re responsible for overseeing every aspect of the production, from casting actors to coordinating cinematographers, sound engineers, and crew members. It’s a blend of technical, creative, and leadership skills, all focused on communicating a powerful story.

Our program covers everything from the logistics of direction to captivating storytelling, shoot types, storyboarding, and working with actors and props. You’ll learn from award-winning directors and gain hands-on experience with each stage of production.

Upon completing the course, you’ll graduate with globally recognized ISO & government (MESC) certification.

Program Learning Outcomes

Eligibility: 10th/12th pass

The Advanced Direction Course equips students with the skills and expertise needed to step into the film and television industry with confidence.

  • Dual Certification & Industry Entry – Earn recognized certification and access entry-level roles such as screenwriter, production assistant, director, assistant director, and director’s assistant.
  • Comprehensive Understanding of Film & Television – Gain an integrated overview of filmmaking with a specialized focus on direction.
  • Master the Three Stages of Production – Develop expertise in pre-production, production, and post-production, including staging scenes, dividing shots, and executing them on camera.

This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2022.
