Our interactive sessions are blended with learning and fun under expert guidance from renowned industry artists. Program Overview

ICE offers children to pursue their passion at a young age

Making a video is what we do regularly, but only a few know how to get the best shots. Whether it is learning the right angles, lighting composition, styles, and technicalities, the course is committed to helping young people mature their technical and innovative abilities, as well as build confidence to take stunning motion shots.

Motion photography disregards some of the traditional rules and if your basics are not right you will miss the best shots on capturing motion. The young artist will learn the storytelling aspect that makes photographs showing motion look much more interesting. This type of imagery is widely used in commercial ads, events, fashion, digital marketing, and even in places like billboards, magazines, etc.

The module will cover every facet from basic to technical and help make ready young artists.

Module 1: Introduction of motion photography

Module 2: Working of Camera (The science behind the working of this magical device called camera)

Module 3: Elements of motion photography (Improve how our photos look and feel.)

Module 4: Composition (Elements - golden triangle, the rule of thirds, framing, leading lines, symmetry and patterns, depth of field, viewpoint)

Module 5: Lens Types (Prime lens, Zoom lens)

Module 6: Lens perspective (1 hour)

Module 7: Focus (Type Of Focus – Sharp, soft, split, bokeh, rack)

Module 8: Shots (Types of shots- Close-Up ‘Ecu, Bcu, Cu, Mcu’, medium shot, Medium long, Long Shot, Extreme Long Shot, two shot, Three shot, Group shots, Point of View Shots ‘Subjective shot & Objective shot’)

Module 9: Camera Angles (Bird eye view shot, high angle shot, eye level shot, low angle shot, worm’s eye view, reverse angle shot, over shoulder shot)

Module 10: Camera Movements (Pan, tilt, zoom, truck ‘Track & Trolley’, dolly, pedestal, crane & jib, rack focus)

Module 11: Lights -Natural (One light approach, two light approaches, Three-point light), Artificial (One light approach, two light approaches, three-point light), Types of side/Split lights (Butterfly lighting, loop lighting, rembrandt lighting, short lighting, broad lighting)

Module 12: Contrast ratio, & Light accessories

Module 13: Illuminance and Luminance

Module 14: Filters (Camera filters, light filters, diffusion filters)

Module 15: Colour theory, Colour Correction, Continuity and Cuttings

Module 16: 180 Degree, 30 Degree and 20mm rule

Module 17: Introduction of Non-Fiction programs

Module 18: Introduction of Fiction programs

Module 19: Documentary Production (Students make a film on a subject they care about.)

Module 20: Editing (The art of editing, or rather the magic of cinema.)

Module 21: Joining Shots

Module 22: Exercise based on Kuleshov’s effect (Take different shots, and join them together on a mobile app, to create new meanings.)

Module 23: Basics of Editing (The fundamental rules of editing, and various ways of editing are introduced.)

Module 24: Photo presentation (In this module the participants are encouraged to make a photo presentation on a particular theme.

Module 25: Blogging (create a blog, upload video on the blog)

Module 26: Assignment (Making a nonfiction & fiction video, small documentary on market place, blogging (Uploading Video on Blog)

Module 27: Additional Incentive for Level 2 Student (After successful completion of course, ICE shall arrange Live Studio Visit @ Mumbai on specified date. Interested candidate can join in Mumbai for Studio Visit. Candidate to bore Travel & Stay expenditure for reaching Mumbai.)

Program Certificate

Students who complete any course are awarded certificates that are globally recognized and widely preferred within the industry.

Create a footing for all professions in art performance, acting, or filmmaking with an internationally recognized and accepted certification from ICE Institute. ICE was the first media and film institute to receive the ISO certification on quality standards and continues to make history within the industry.

We offer dual certification on selective courses with government certification. ICE is the authorized partner of Media & Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) which is promoted by FICCI & NSDC for setting standards while training and accreditation falls under (PMKVY) scheme of government of India. This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2022.
